Company Accountant required by a long-established, Dublin 12-based transport company. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee the accounts function, completing monthly management accounts and a reporting pack for the board of directors.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitoring of monthly revenue and costs.
- Complete supplier reconciliations in conjunction with accruals.
- Produce complete monthly management accounts and reports.
- Manage credit controller.
- Assisting in dealings with auditors.
- Working closely with other team members.
- Complete monthly Bank Reconciliations & revaluation of balances
- Development of KPI reports around resources, transport and warehousing.
- Monthly journal posting.
- Produce P&L and variance analysis against budgets.
- Key account reporting.
- Cash flow Forecasting
- Complete statutory tax and CSO reporting.
- Working on adhoc projects with the Directors as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant – (either ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA)
- A minimum of 4 years recent work experience at a senior level within industry, ideally within a Freight/Logistics/Distribution company.
- Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to complete monthly management accounts.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- An aptitude to take issues through to resolution without close supervision.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to coach, support and train other team members.
- Strong communication with Fluency in English.
- Ability to work unrestricted for an indefinite period without the need for sponsorship.
Terms:
Full-time, permanent, site-based, Monday to Friday daytime hours
