A leading transport and logistics company in Dublin is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Transportation Compliance Coordinator. to support the Compliance Manager in ensuring all operations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the company's high standards for safety, regulatory compliance, and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Manager in monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement.
- Help develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and internal guidelines
- Maintain and update compliance records, including audit reports, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Compliance Manager and senior management.
- Document and report any compliance issues or breaches promptly and accurately.
- Support the development and implementation of corrective actions and preventative measures.
- Monitor the effectiveness of incident response plans and recommend improvements as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within the transport or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex compliance issues clearly and effectively.
- Relevant certifications in compliance management (e.g., CCEP, CPCO).
