Our client, a specialist freight and logistics company, is looking for a Crossdock & Domestic Co-ordinator to join their team in Dublin 11. This is a full-time, on-site role suited to someone with hands-on freight or warehouse administration experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The role sits at the centre of the business's domestic and some international traffic, working closely with warehouse teams, drivers, hauliers and customers to keep shipments moving smoothly from booking through to file closure. Please note this role is not suitable for hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing inbound and outbound manifests, labels and CMRs

  • Co-ordinating daily with warehouse staff and management

  • Liaising with drivers, hauliers and other suppliers

  • Taking customer bookings via email and online systems

  • Planning domestic and some international traffic

  • Managing incoming correspondence, replying directly or delegating as appropriate

  • Handling customer queries and proactively communicating updates

  • Maintaining accurate financial records

  • Updating customers on order progress

  • Progressing and updating orders through to file closure

  • Managing outturn reports and amending files in line with shortages/overlands

  • General departmental duties as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar freight or warehousing administration role

  • Excellent English language communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, with willingness to learn other business software

  • Strong team player with the ability to use own initiative

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Flexibility with working hours, particularly Friday evenings for export planning

  • Irish Leaving Certificate or international equivalent (minimum); a third-level qualification is an advantage but not essential

  • Forklift licence advantageous but not required
