North Dublin-based freight forwarder seeks an experienced and qualified customs clearance operator. The company is long recognised as a leader in their field and has an excellent reputation as a great place to work.
The role:
- Creating UK export entries and Irish clearances
- Addressing customs problems to prevent or minimise delays
- Working closely with other group companies in the UK and Asia.
- Work closely with the freight operations and the bonded warehouse teams.
The successful candidate must have experience in the following:
- Creating customs declarations for UK exports and Irish clearances
- Creating Irish export declarations and UK clearances
- Experience of TSS entries and supplementary declarations
- Experience with ENS/GMR/PBN
- Knowledge of transit bond operations and raising and discharging T1’s and T2’s
- Experience using the Thyme-IT (Descartes) software
- Knowledge of Azyra would also be useful, but not mandatory
- Extensive understanding of customs processes in Ireland and the UK
- Ability to problem-solve and work as part of a team
- Flexibility in busy periods.
