We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented District Sales Operations Coordinator with a strong background in freight and logistics to support business development efforts across the district. This fast-paced role requires experience in the Irish logistics sector and involves cross-functional collaboration, multitasking, and strong time management. You’ll play a key role in driving sales initiatives, maintaining accurate reporting, and coordinating events and operational support for the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal sales meetings and manage distribution of sales leads
- Organise and support training sessions for the district’s commercial team
- Schedule and manage meetings for company visitors and customer engagements
- Prepare and distribute regular sales reports and dashboards to support data accuracy and performance tracking
- Assist in compiling and submitting bids and proposals, ensuring content quality, formatting, and timely delivery
- Support customer-facing events, including planning, logistics, and post-event feedback collection
- Manage local marketing needs in line with brand guidelines, including creation and distribution of targeted communications
- Collaborate with regional sales operations teams on broader initiatives and best practice
Qualifications
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably within the Irish market
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
