Terms: Full-time permanent, office-based with 30% international travel, Mon-Fri, normal working hours

A Dublin-15-based international technology hardware company now seek an experienced EHS Lead, EMEA to lead regional environment, health, and safety compliance across EMEA locations. This role will be responsible for auditing sites, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements, building EHS capability through training, and driving a strong safety culture across the region. The position is predominantly focused on EHS, with an Ireland-specific multisite facilities support remit that complements the broader regional mandate.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Conduct regular site audits across EMEA locations against local health and safety legislative requirements.
  • Produce clear audit reports with prioritized action plans; track and close out actions with site leads.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with country-specific health and safety regulations across the region.
  • Design and deliver health and safety training programs, adapting content to local legal and cultural requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate EHS policies and procedures aligned to EMEA requirements.
  • Act as the primary regional point of contact for all EHS matters, escalating risk appropriately.
  • Monitor regulatory developments across jurisdictions and proactively update the organization.
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Maintain and develop ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, as relevant.
  • Coordinate and manage EHS induction and training programs for site personnel.
  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations for Irish sites, including vendor and contractor management, space planning, office moves, and facilities-related projects.
  • Ensure Irish facilities comply with applicable health and safety regulations, including fire safety, building codes, security, workplace safety standards, maintenance documentation, inspections, and vendor service-level agreements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant EHS qualifications, such as NEBOSH Diploma, Level 8 in Health & Safety, or equivalent, required.
  • Solid experience in a multi-site or regional EHS role across office, operations, and warehousing environments.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety legislation across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Strong auditing capability with experience producing actionable compliance reports.
  • Confident trainer and communicator, with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and seniority levels.
  • Facilities management experience, even if secondary to the EHS remit.
  • Full, clean driving licence and passport valid for EMEA travel.
  • Based in Ireland with flexibility to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Excellent personal leadership, influencing, communication, collaboration, and team-oriented skills.
