A leading Freight Forwarding company that just recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. They are looking for an experienced Export Operations Executive to join their team.

About the Role

We are looking for a candidate who can work in a growing Export Department. Based in Dublin, we handle Export shipments to global destinations. Working as part of a team of 5 people, your role will involve processing Ocean and Airfreight shipments from start to finish whilst delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of all aspects of the Export process (including, but not limited to, organising customer collections,
  • Bookings with Airlines and Ocean lines, providing customer updates and tracking information
  • Creating MAWB, HAWB / BOL
  • Performing export clearances in our in-house customs software.
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Determine problems that may arise, find solutions and keep lines of communication
  • Responsible for adhering to SOP
  • Mandatory daily correspondence with overseas offices
  • Work closely with other departments to deliver a high level of service to customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in an Export Operations position within the local market
  • Knowledge of Air and/or Sea operations
  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent customer service, planning & organisational skills
  • Excellent telephone manners
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Exports
  •  Booking jobs and arranging collections and deliveries
  •  Invoicing and job accounting
  •  Excellent communication skills
