Finance Assistant

Key Duties & Responsibilities;

• Assist with monthly customer billing, checking for errors and then processing invoices into the Xero accounts package
• Reconciling supplier statements and matching payments on the accounts system
• Bank Reconciliations
• Ensuring that purchase invoices are processed in a timely manner
• Liaising with suppliers and the wider team to resolve any queries and ensuring good relationships are maintained
• Assisting with weekly payroll
• Posting expenses into Xero accounts package
• Liaising with client's and the wider team to resolve any queries
• Collation of data for customer forecasting and month-end reporting
• Analysing data sets to ensure we are capturing all revenue
• Assisting with Weekly Forecasting
• Creating weekly KPI’s for operational use

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years in a similar industry-based role, ideally within the logistics or fulfilment industry 
• Part-qualified accountant or Accounting Technician certified
• Strong analytical mindset 
• Ambitious individual looking for advancement
• Strong Excel skills, which can be demonstrated
• Strong written and oral communication is essential
• High attention to detail
• Excellent customer focus
