Financial Controller required by a large Logistics company based in Dublin 15. You will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of facility reporting at a GP and Ebit level and generating clear understanding of product profitability in support of the finance management team. Daily management of operational finance processes and monthly management of company control framework as outlined in the company manual. In turn, mitigating any quality audit (internal/external) on financial exposure. Accountable for month-end and reporting of financial performance & risk.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Work with the general manager of site to ensure all revenue and costs at a GP level are transacted in the finance system.
- Be responsible for Month-end GP reporting, Review and propose any adjustment needed to ensure arcuate job costing.
- Review and sign off all site costs and ensure monthly costs are paid or are accrued in the month end reporting.
- Provide full customer, material profit transparency to Financial partners, General Manager and Product Managers
- Conduct and be responsible for internal audit processes, ensuring compliance to defined best practice and maintain our operational procedures
- Provide weekly update on volume reporting for the site.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Financial accuracy (Accrual levels and prior period adjustments)
- Risk internal control and compliance (RICC) monthly Score
- Company P&L
Minimum Requirements and skills:
- Key Technical skills for this role:
- Data mining / analysis
- MS Office, specifically advanced in Excel
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years working in a financial reporting role
- Contract Logistics / warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience with financial processes and practices
- Preferred, level of financial qualification
- Advanced knowledge of SAP/FACT preferably including business warehouse or business intelligence

Salary:
Circa €60-€65,000 basic annual salary, Pension, Healthcare, Dental, Bonus, 25 days hols - "All the bells and whistles"!
