Our client is searching for a White Glove Airfreight Forwarder with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in air import/export and customs. This role is essential to the secure and efficient handling of high-value and sensitive items during transportation. The coordinator will liaise with clients, internal teams, and customs authorities to ensure smooth, compliant movement of shipments worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of white glove shipping, including air imports/exports, road transport, and customs clearance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for our clients.
  • Prepare and verify all shipping documentation: air waybills, customs declarations, import/export paperwork, and licences.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and relevant import/export procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, transport, and technical teams) to ensure successful delivery and installation.
  • Provide cost and time estimates for services such as transportation, crating, and customs handling.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for tracking and customs compliance.
  • Resolve logistical issues during transportation and provide solutions efficiently.
  • Support invoicing, reporting, and other administrative functions within the operations team.
  • Accompany freight airside and oversee loading onto aircraft to ensure secure and accurate handling of goods.
  • Project manage the full freight life cycle — from initial booking and documentation through to final delivery, ensuring every stage meets client expectations and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in air import/export and customs, ideally within the white glove logistics or broader logistics sector.
  • In-depth understanding of customs regulations and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-driven and proactive with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with shipping/customs platforms is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
  • Willingness to assist in other operational tasks as needed.
  • As this role requires access to airside areas, you must be able to pass a 5-year verifiable background check in compliance with aviation security regulations.
