Our client is actively seeking a reliable and experienced freight forwarder to join their team and contribute to their logistical operations.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the creation and tracking of freight bookings, ensuring everything runs smoothly and deliveries are on time.
- Handling various shipping documents like Airway Bills, House Bills of Lading, Seaway Bills, and CMRs accurately and efficiently.
- Dealing with import/export customs clearance processes to ensure shipments comply with regulations.
- Providing quotes to customers and approving invoices from suppliers.
- Taking care of general administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
- Solving any issues that come up quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience in freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures is a plus.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic administrative tasks and Microsoft Word, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English
