A Dublin 9-based freight forwarder now seeks an experienced Operations Manager with extensive airfreight forwarding experience. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operations by actively participating and engaging with Company management initiatives. You will lead and motivate a multimodal operations team to ensure effective management of shipments and will ensure that the business can function effectively and profitably without operational constraints.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in airfreight forwarding operations with some exposure to Ocean and Road.
- Previous experience managing a 10+ member operations team within a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of international import and export procedures.
- Experience using CargoWise or a comparable freight management system.
- Proven ability in managing customer relationships and resolving operational escalations.
- Experience overseeing customs compliance and international trade documentation.
- Exposure to Quality Management Systems, including AEO, ISO or GDP standards.
- Experience managing aviation security compliance, operational KPIs, productivity and service performance.
- Experience working closely with finance teams on invoicing, profitability, month-end procedures and aged debt.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, coaching and performance managing staff.
