Freight Operations Executive

Support day-to-day European freight operations, coordinating shipments, carriers, and customer updates. Ideal for organised, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role will require access to a vehicle to commute to the office location. Following a successful probation period, there will be an option to move into a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange and track international shipments by road and sea
• Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and distribution partners
• Maintain accurate shipment records and input data into systems
• Provide timely updates to customers and assist with basic queries
• Support quotes, rate requests, and costing as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in freight or logistics operations, including groupage and full load shipments.
• Strong track record of customer liaison and attending operational or sales meetings.
• Experience using freight systems, CRM, or ERP platforms to manage shipments and documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of European road and sea freight procedures, Incoterms, and basic costing/invoicing
