Our client, one of the market leaders in Freight Forwarding, now seeks to hire an Operator to join their team,the position is based in Corneslcourt, just off the M50 & N11.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating operational and administrative processes from origin to destination
- Efficient management of system event tracking and customer database files
- Liaising with Customers, and our Global offices and service providers
- Receiving and processing documentation with a high level of accuracy
- Handling financial elements including invoicing and forecasting
- Managing everything from initial booking through to the safe delivery of goods
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 / 3 years’ experience in the shipping industry preferably with customs clearance experience.
- Air/Road freight knowledge advantageous
- Strong IT systems experience
- Strong administration & organisational skills.
- Customer focused
- Dedication to completing a high standard of work
- Hardworking and reliable
