Title: International Move Coordinator 
Location: Dublin 15
Terms: Full-time permanent, office-based, normal office hours
Salary: €35,000 - €42,000 (DOE)

A well-established freight company, based in Dublin 15, is seeking a dynamic and proactive International Move Coordinator to join the team. You will play a crucial role in managing the import and export of consignments, coordinating with Irish sub-contractors and international agents, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Efficiently manage the import and export processes of general cargo and personal effects consignment movements internationally via Air, Ocean, Rail and Road Freight.
  • Completion of Customs clearance and TOR’s.
  • Collaborate closely with local subcontractors and international agents to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organize and schedule on-site and remote surveys in coordination with clients and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate effective communication between site crews, drivers, and clients to deliver comprehensive service.
  • Handle inbound inquiries via telephone and email promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain seamless day-to-day operations, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Actively pursue new leads to expand our client base.
  • Provide regular progress updates to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years of multimodal operations experience in freight forwarding or international personal effects movements.
  • Experience of completing customs clearance declarations and TOR’s.
  • Experience working with large multinational clients.
  • Strong interpersonal aptitude, coupled with adept problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer operations, with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong IT skills i.e. FMS, MS Office etc.
  • Full clean Irish Driving License
