A leading provider of integrated quay-to-quay and door-to-door logistics solutions now seeks a Key Account Manager to assist them in expanding their presence in Ireland and to provide support to strengthen their customer and supplier relations. Within this challenging function, you will work in close collaboration with both the Operational and Commercial Department and support the local needs. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Key Accounts, you will assist in the following tasks:
- Development of the brand in Ireland and the growth of the current key accounts.
- Focus on analysing the empty equipment in Ireland and translate the capacity into demand with our customers.
- Provide support in building the commercial relationship with our key account customers, by frequently engaging with the local business unit teams in Europe.
- Troubleshooting: handle problems that may occur and resolve operational/commercial issues.
- Ensure that the appropriate internal procedures are adhered to in all commercial actions with new and existing customers.
- Carry out any other tasks within your skill and capability on an as and when required basis.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant logistics education and/or experience in the transport industry.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel throughout Ireland and occasionally other parts of Europe.
- A flexible professional with a hands-on attitude and have the ability to think outside the box.
- Team player.
