North Dublin European Freight specialist now seek to hire a Logistics & Warehouse Administrator. The successful candidate will also be required to cover Warehouse duties for holiday/sick period, therefore, Counter balance & Reach forklift licences are also required.

 

Job Purpose

To assist in organising the daily logistics function, as per company and client requirements, and maintain a high level of customer service, to both internal and external customers.

Duties & Responsibilities


Office

  • Data entry of stock movements on Warehouse Management System (SAP).

  • Inputting daily shipments on freight system and preparing paperwork for same day dispatch.

  • Processing carton shipments on courier IT systems and preparing carton labels for dispatch.

  • Data entry of collections on parcel courier IT systems.

  • Inputting Daily pricing of shipments on freight system.

  • Processing supplier invoices on receipt.

  • Updating customer service teams on service and delivery performance, on a per shipment basis, as required.

  • Updating customer’s Oracle system as required.

  • Resolving and communicating service issues with customers and colleagues.

Warehouse

  • Labelling cartons in Warehouse and palletise for onward delivery or return.

  • Providing operational cover in warehouse in busy times / holiday periods, this to include operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts.

  • Assisting with picking and packing of orders from stock, on a FIFO basis, with a high level of picking accuracy.

  • Assisting with Stock taking and regular cycle counting.

  • Additional operational duties, which may be assigned by Freight / Warehouse Manager.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a strong level of computer literacy, with experience of data entry in warehouse management systems (preferably SAP).

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, for interaction with Customer and Management level personnel, on interpersonal, phone and e-mail levels.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS office programs, to include MS Outlook and Excel.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.

  • Strong Customer Orientation.

  • To carry out any other additional duties, that may be assigned from time to time.

  • Recent experience of data entry on SAP.

  • Experience of using Freight or Courier IT systems.

  • Valid and in-date Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Licences

  • In-date Manual Handling Certificate.

  • Aviation Security Training (Module 11) advantageous

Terms:

Full time, Permanent

Package:

€26,000 - €28,000 (DOE)
