A Dublin 11 based technology company is now seeking a Master Planner with recent similar experience within the technology industry. The Master Planner is a pivotal role, responsible for orchestrating worldwide production planning, inventory control, and logistics for high-reliability server products. The position requires strong SAP and Excel skills, experience in planning, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across global teams and suppliers.
Core Responsibilities;
- Oversee worldwide planning for Server products assembled in Dublin, ensuring alignment with global demand and sales orders.
- Review and analyse all sales orders, including systems, add-ons, and refurbishment requests, to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment from the Dublin plant.
- Schedule orders and plan material availability in SAP, coordinating production and shipment to meet commit dates.
- Manage post-sales support spares inventory, ensuring the right type and quantity of inventory is available in appropriate warehouses globally.
- Regularly review excess and obsolete inventory, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure proper disposition.
- Prioritise production activities, spares repairs, sales orders, and engineering change order (ECO) implementations.
- Work closely with support groups to facilitate smooth NPI processes.
- Collaborate with Corporate Sales, Operations and sub-contractors to create and manage top-level forecasts.
- Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, consumption, and make necessary adjustments in conjunction with Sales Operations.
- Create and maintain planning BOMs with engineering and sales, ensuring ongoing accuracy.
- Monitor excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory at key suppliers and assess financial liability based on forecast consumption.
Skills & Qualifications;
- 2 -5 years senior planning experience with a multinational Technology company.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel are essential.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Strong team player, able to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage priorities.
