Our client is a trusted partner in removals and logistic solutions, proudly Irish-Owned and committed to delivering excellence. The company is focused on delivering a seamless, stress-free move experience, tailored to the unique requirements of the client. Currently, they are seeking, a highly organized and proactive Move Coordinator to join the team based in their Meath office. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the Operations Director who will train and mentor the successful applicant imparting his knowledge and providing a wealth of knowledge within this industry.

  • General day to day operations: Collaborate with shipping lines, agents, and drivers to oversee the coordination and execution of shipments. 
  • Financial Oversight: Work closely with the accounts department to verify that shipments have been paid for or that deposit are secured.
  • Driver and Crew: Liaise with our own drivers and crew to ensure they are well-informed about their assignments, schedules, and any special instructions. 
  • Collaboration with Operations Director: Collaborate closely with the Operations Director to align operations with the company's overall goals and strategies. 
  • Invoicing: Generate and process invoices accurately and promptly, ensuring all necessary details are included. 
  • Storage Account Tracking: Monitor and track storage accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Quotations: Play a key role qualifying inbound leads, confidently engaging with potential clients to provide the right information about the services available and cost of delivery. While training will be provided, a strong sense of confidence in communication is essential.
  • Site Surveys: After undergoing a comprehensive 6-month training program, conduct site surveys to assess the logistics and requirements of different projects accurately.
  • Business Development: Identify potential business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts in conjunction with the Operations Director.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year Ocean or Road Freight Forwarding operations experience 
  • Ideally educated in Transport, Freight or Logistics Management.
  • Good geographic knowledge of Ireland 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player and strong problem-solving skills 
  • Proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work in Ireland full time, permanent.
  • Due to poor public transport, own transport is required.

Terms: 
Full-time, permanent, office based. 

Package:
€35,000- 40,000 + Bonus
