A leading transport and logistics company in Dublin is seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Operations Manager to oversee and manage night-time operations. The company prides itself on efficient, reliable, and customer-focused services in the transport sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all night-time operations ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage and coordinate the night shift team, ensuring all staff are adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely completion of all transport activities.
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols for night operations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless transition between day and night shifts.
- Manage transport logistics, including routing, scheduling, and dispatching
- Handle any operational issues or emergencies that arise during the night shift
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the transport or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Terms:
Full-time position with night shift hours. (Mon-Fri)
