We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the role of Night Shift Supervisor. This position involves overseeing various operational aspects to ensure smooth nightly operations within our facility. Below are the responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating freight consolidation for nightly dispatch on transportation vehicles.
- Ensuring proper staging of all freight from the night sort in designated courier bays.
- Passing on daily debriefs to the AM Shift team.
- Strict adherence to Health & Safety Procedures.
- Meeting depot Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborating with PM/AM Shift Supervisors to address and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in warehouse and work areas.
- Safely and efficiently handling customer goods/freight.
- Minimizing misroutes through accurate sorting and organization of freight.
- Conducting thorough scanning of all freight for depot efficiency.
- Contributing effectively as a team member.
- Motivating team members and evaluating performance.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) at a commercially acceptable level.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Email, Reporting platforms, and CRM systems.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Irish geography and depot coverage areas.
- Previous experience in the logistics industry.
Schedule:
8-hour shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Workdays: Sunday to Thursday
Package:
Full-time, permanent position €38,000
License/Certification:
Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Certificate (preferred but not essential)
