A leading multinational logistics company is seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder with a solid background in ocean import/export operations. Key Responsibilities
- Handle ocean import/export bookings, pricing, quotations, and end-to-end shipping and customs documentation.
- Oversee transport-related documents, including booking confirmations, BLs, pre-advices, and loading confirmations.
- Nominate carriers, hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, and GSAs in alignment with rates, customer needs, and INCOTerms.
- Prepare essential customs paperwork (e.g., ISF, COO, clearance documents) for international freight movement.
- Develop and nurture relationships to provide exceptional customer service tailored to client requirements.
- Address complaints in accordance with IIFA Terms and Conditions, ensuring accurate KPI tracking.
- Work closely with our global offices and agent networks worldwide.
- Ensure cost-effective service solutions are implemented without compromising quality or reliability.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of ocean freight import processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with customs handling and transport insurance.
