Long-established multinational logistics group now seek an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder. Working as part of a busy Ocean Department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating ocean freight operations, shipment tracking, documentation preparation, arranging customs clearance and ensuring timely delivery of cargo.
Key Requirements;
- Experience in ocean freight operations and knowledge of international shipping regulations
- Proficiency in using CargoWise freight management system and working knowledge of Customs Clearance via Thyme-IT
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
