Ocean Freight Junior

A multinational logistics company now seek an Ocean Freight Junior with a minimum of 1 year of ocean import/export freight forwarding experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle ocean import/export bookings, pricing, quotations, and end-to-end shipping and customs documentation.

• Oversee transport-related documents, including booking confirmations, BLs, pre-advices, and loading confirmations.

• Nominate carriers, hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, and GSAs in alignment with rates, customer needs, and INCOTerms.

• Prepare essential customs paperwork (e.g., ISF, COO, clearance documents) for international freight movement.

• Develop and nurture relationships to provide exceptional customer service tailored to client requirements.

• Address complaints in accordance with IIFA Terms and Conditions, ensuring accurate KPI tracking.

• Work closely with our global offices and agent networks worldwide.

• Ensure cost-effective service solutions are implemented without compromising quality or reliability.

Minimum Requirements: 

• At least 1 year of experience in ocean freight forwarding.

• Knowledge of ocean freight import processes.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with customs handling and transport insurance.
