A well-established logistics provider is seeking a Sea Freight Operator to support end-to-end ocean freight operations. This role involves managing shipments from booking through to delivery and invoicing, liaising with customers and global partners, and ensuring a high level of service throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating sea freight shipments (liner and forwarding)
- Monitoring shipments and managing documentation
- Liaising with customers, shipping lines, agents, and transport providers
- Handling rate enquiries, quotations, and invoicing
- Supporting customs clearance processes and operational activities
Requirements
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar sea freight or freight forwarding role
- Strong knowledge of sea freight operations and documentation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
