Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Ocean Export Coordinator to join their dynamic team based in Dublin. As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing the full cycle of ocean export operations. You'll play a critical role in ensuring freight is processed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with international regulations, and delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities;
- Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from booking to delivery
- Enter shipment data into the logistics system with accuracy and timeliness
- Track and trace shipments, proactively communicating updates to clients
- Ensure adherence to all international shipping and customs regulations
- Liaise with overseas agents and global offices to ensure seamless movement of goods
- Maintain up-to-date client SOPs and internal documentation
- Escalate any issues or delays to management promptly
- Continuously seek to improve workflow and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- 6–12 months’ experience in ocean freight forwarding or a recently qualified FIATA graduate
- Working knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms is an advantage
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Computer literate, especially in MS Excel and Word
- Fluency in English is required as it ability to work unrestricted by visa time constraints
