Job Position

An Irish owned manufacturing company is looking for a Operations Manager for their Food sector based in Monaghan. 

Responsibilities
To assess the production on the day to day operations. 
Determine and test potential improvements.
Lead a team to ensure that the companies needs are being met at all times. 
Ensure the correct the usage of ingredients and packaging, for cost and quality.
Health and safety needs of the company  
Responsible for the efficient manufacture and timely despatch within the established parameters of food safety guidelines.
Ensure that all processes are carried out to specification with due consideration to Food Safety, Quality, and legal requirement.
Able to identify improvements and promote the business in all aspects. 

Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience of management in a food manufacturing environment.
A degree or equivalent experience in management / engineering discipline.
Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate.
Sound communication skills, giving clarity and direction to the team.
Involvement in project work related to achievement of demanding deadlines and coordination of the multi-discipline team.

Full-time hours 39 week

Salary €30,000
