Title: Operations Support Administrator – European Road Freight
Location: Dublin North 
Type: Full-Time, Temporary (3 Month Contract)
Package:  €16.80 p/h +25 days holidays (pro-rata) 
Ideal Candidate:  Candidates who have freight forwarding experience 

We are working with a well-established Dublin-based European road freight forwarder seeking an Operations Support Administrator to join their growing team. This role is critical to
keeping day-to-day operations moving—supporting planners, ensuring accurate data flow in CargoWise, and maintaining high service levels across European groupage and full load
movements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the European road freight operations team
  • Accurately input and manage shipment data within CargoWise
  • Assist with job creation, booking entries, and file management
  • Support planning teams with documentation and coordination tasks
  • Liaise with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents regarding shipment updates
  • Track and update shipment statuses, ensuring milestones are met
  • Prepare and process transport documentation (CMRs, manifests, PODs)
  • Assist with invoicing support and cost control checks
  • Maintain high levels of data accuracy and compliance across all files
  • Handle general operational queries and support issue resolution

Key Requirements:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a freight forwarding, logistics, or transport environment
  • Some exposure to European road freight operations (groupage, FTL, LTL preferred)
  • Experience using a Freight Management System (CargoWise is a strong advantage)
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Good understanding of transport documentation and processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills (internal teams, customers, and suppliers)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
