Job Specification:
Our client a Not for Profit Irish Charity now require an Operations/Service Manager based in Dublin North.
Responsible for the operational management of our accessible transport services (Wheelchair Accessibel Minibuses & Rental Car) supporting people with complex needs. These are customer focused, cost efficient, and operate within regulated frameworks and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering all the operational aspects of the services to achieve business goals and targets in line with company strategy.
Work with the CEO to support, manage and lead the company through the operational changes necessary to maximise profitability & turnover.
Lead & implement change initiatives, as required, across the company to improve our efficiency and service offering for our customers and staff.
Contribute to the business strategy, benchmarking information on best practise, innovative ideas and learning’s from competitors and other businesses.
Coordinate the business planning process; manage approved budgets in line with financial procedures, while collating & monitoring KPIs for monthly distribution.
Be an effective team member of the Senior Management Team supporting each other in the achievement of KPIs, business plan & growth opportunities.
Manage the performance of the Client Services Team, coaching & developing them to achieve their objectives and career goals.
Work with CEO to streamline processes & procedures so they are fit for purpose, standard across all services, continually improved, while compliant.
Ensure customer feedback is sought and shared with the CEO & all Staff so that we all continue to improve our service offering, implementing any necessary changes.
Work with the Transport Manager to ensure our services are provided with the appropriate infrastructure and Resources (Drivers).
Minimum Requirements:
Strong track record working in some capacity of the Transport market within Ireland.
Strong knowledge of Not for Profit sector and Public Procurement.
Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent planning, development, organisational, training, and presentation skills.
Decisive, self-motivated with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Flexibility in line with business requirements including availability to travel, attend evening meetings and have Full clean driving licence
People management / influencing, interviewing, nurturing and developing staff.
Excellent leadership qualities must demonstrate 2 years leading operations.
Bachelor’s Degree - Advantagous
