Production & Logistics Supervisor

Our client is a leading provider of sustainable operations and event logistics, supporting some of Ireland's largest sporting venues, festivals, live events, and hospitality operators. They sit at the forefront of the sustainability movement in the events industry, delivering solutions that cut waste and improve environmental outcomes.

This is a varied role combining people management, logistics coordination, operational leadership, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day running and overall performance of a processing facility, ensuring products are handled, inspected, stored, and distributed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service. Leading a team of permanent staff supported by agency labour during peak periods, this role plays a pivotal part in the successful delivery of major events across Ireland

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 4–12 operational staff, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement
• Oversee facility operations — processing, inspection, quality control, storage, and dispatch
• Plan and optimise transport operations, coordinating delivery and collection schedules for reliable, timely, cost-effective logistics
• Champion a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across efficiency and service delivery

Requirements

• C1 driving licence (over 25 for insurance purposes) and reach forklift experience for occasional support
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse/logistics environment
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
