An established logistics company is seeking a Road Freight Forwarder to manage road freight shipments, coordinate transport arrangements and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export road freight shipments.
- Liaise with customers, hauliers and international partners.
- Arrange collections, deliveries and transport bookings.
- Prepare shipping documentation and manage shipment updates.
- Negotiate transport rates and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in road freight forwarding or logistics is preferred.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and freight documentation.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
