Position:        Road Freight Operations Coordinator
Dept:             UK & European Freight Forwarding
Type:             Full-Time, Permanent, Site-based working 10.30 Hrs - 19.00 Hrs Mon- Fri.
Reports to:    Road Operations Manager

Due to the growth within the Company a vacancy currently exists for the position of Road Freight Operations Coordinator within the UK & European Freight Forwarding dept. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Customer Service are met whilst maximizing company profitability in line with department requirements, while ensuring responsibilities as set by the company are completed efficiently and to the standard required.

Job Description:

  • Liaising with the UK and European Forwarding teams to ensure that the flow of information between the export department and warehouse in sufficient to ensure that the effective loading of trailers is achieved each evening in line with the departure schedule.
  • Follow-up of customers shipments to ensure they are been carried out to the correct standard.
  • Liaising with haulier’s and the companies UK and Dutch depots to ensure all work being carried out to the required standard.
  • Manage the flow of day-to-day information between export operations and the warehouse.
  • Ensure all Billing and Accurate Costings are complete at Month End.
  • Create reports to update the management on the team's progress where necessary.
  • Distribute timely reports to the appropriate customers / personnel as required
  • Ensure all KPI’s are up to the standard required.
  • Assist Finance Department to ensure a timely, accurate month closure.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Min 2 years of recent European or UK Export Road Freight Operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Azyra is preferable but not essential.
  • Good Level of Excel Reporting.
  • Quality and detail focused.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility

Type:
Full-time, Permanent, Office-based role working 10.30 Hrs to 19.00 Hrs Monday to Friday.

Package:
€35-38k depending on experience
