Job Position

Expanding, Dynamic and Innovative Award Winning Artisan food producer is seeking a Sales Representative & Marketing Assistant for their expanding business in Cork city. The selected candidate will report directly to the Managing Director.

Role & Duties:

• Manage existing customer base by carrying out activities such a taking orders, liaising with production department and arranging deliveries.
• Boost sales for all products and services
• Increase current Munster customer portfolio
• Identify potential new customers
• Liaise with existing distributors and assist them in boosting sales nationwide
• Arrange in-store tastings with supermarkets
• Create ideas for new ways to market
• Manage and innovate social media campaigns within budget

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate / higher level diploma in a sales and marketing or Food Science discipline
• 2 to 3 years work experience in the food retail/distribution industry
• Passionate about the Speciality & Artisan food sector with knowledge of this sector
• Natural ability to network with perseverance and commercial skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage with customers and to maintain client relationships
• Ability to work in a team and to work effectively with other departments to deliver objectives
• Proficient in managing administrative tasks in relation to sales, marketing and social media
• Full driving license and own vehicle an advantage
