Position: Sales/Business Development Manager
Location: Dublin South

Purpose of Role:
The Sales/Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in our client's growth strategy by leading the introduction of new projects and services to their existing customer base of over 5000 companies. This role requires an individual who can swiftly adapt to these new offerings and leverage their experience in sales and business development to not only retain current clients but also expand the client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a track record of bringing in new business opportunities and will be responsible for driving growth from day one.

Experience Required:

  • Proven sales experience in the UK and EU import and export road freight and groupage industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the UK and EU import and export road freight and groupage sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and introducing them to new services.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities, utilizing industry knowledge and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and competitors' activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development, particularly in the UK and EU import/export road freight and groupage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry, including market trends and competitors.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)
