An established logistics company is seeking a Sea Freight Forwarder to support international ocean freight operations. The role involves managing shipments from booking through to final delivery while ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shipments from booking through to completion
- Prepare and process sea freight and customs documentation
- Arrange collections and coordinate with global carrier networks
- Monitor shipments, track consignments, and issue pre-alerts
- Communicate with internal teams and overseas partners
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide shipment updates
- Handle invoicing, job costing, and freight documentation
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in sea freight or freight forwarding
- Knowledge of customs procedures and shipping documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working independently while contributing to a team
