Our client, a leading Freight Forwarder now requires a Seafreight Forwarder based in their office in Dublin North.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and execute sea freight operations
- Liaising with clients, overseas offices and agents
- Responsible for communicating with customers and understanding customer requirements
- Perform administration tasks efficiently and to a high standard, in accordance with departmental requirements
- Preparation of documentation
- Ensure all queries and requests are dealt with accurately and promptly
- Working as part of a team and contributing to the efficiency of the overall department
Skills:
- 2-3 years Seafreight experience within the Irish market essential
- Customs Clearance experience essential
- A good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel
- Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Customer Focused
- Flexible and a strong team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication
