Seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to drive targeted portfolio growth, cultivate client relationships, and collaborate on strategic sales initiatives for a dynamic and innovative company.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and manage targeted business portfolios through proactive business development.
- Demonstrate initiative in understanding and addressing client needs.
- Use various methods to identify and qualify prospects for new opportunities.
- Conduct consultative meetings with potential clients, customizing services to their needs.
- Present and demonstrate products/services to promote the company's offerings.
- Collaborate with the IRE sales team for effective sales strategies and profitability.
- Serve as the primary contact for commercial customer inquiries and escalations.
- Maintain reporting through tools like Salesforce, foster specific markets, identify new opportunities, and ensure competitive marketing.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working in a Freight Forwarding environment
- Sales experience
- Full Driving Licence
- Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint Point, and Lotus Notes
- Confident, flexible, friendly, approachable and quick thinker
