This is a full-time, Senior Sales Representative role based in Dublin. The Senior Sales Representative will manage and grow a customer portfolio, with a particular focus on clients in the food and paper packaging sectors.
Day-to-day responsibilities include;
- Finding and qualifying new leads, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing, and negotiating proposals, and closing sales in line with revenue targets.
- The role involves building long-term relationships, understanding customer operations and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored packaging solutions.
- The Senior Sales Representative will also monitor market trends, provide feedback to product and operations teams, and maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in packaging, manufacturing, food, or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills, with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to understand technical product features, quality standards, and compliance requirements and explain them clearly to customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Comfort working with sales reporting and basic data analysis to manage pipelines and forecasts.
- Self-directed, goal-oriented work style, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior sales team members is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.
- Familiarity with food industry regulations, packaging standards, or supply chain processes is a plus.
- Full clean driving licence
