Title: Transport Administrator 
Location: Dublin 12 
Salary:  €35,000 - €40,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Office-based

A well-established, family-owned transport and logistics company providing nationwide and cross-border distribution services. The business operates a versatile fleet, offers warehousing solutions, and facilitates in-house customs clearance. The team prides itself on reliability, long-term customer relationships, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule job bookings for road freight movements, including full loads, multi-drops, container transport, and abnormal loads.
  • Process and file proof of delivery (POD) documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on job sheets, delivery schedules, and driver communications.
  • Act as liaison between drivers, clients, subcontractors, and other operational teams across regions.
  • Ensure fleet availability and assist with compliance monitoring and planning.
  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, invoicing, and report generation

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a transport or logistics administration role, ideally within road freight or fleet scheduling.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and logistics or transport management systems.
  • Familiarity with driver hour regulations, tachograph rules, and road transport compliance.
  • A proactive team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
