Join our client dynamic team in Dublin Port as a Transport Coordinator. This full-time role (8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday) requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the essential requirement of owning personal transport due to the location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage daily administrative activities, supporting the Transport Manager.
- Oversee driver-related processes, including maintaining vehicle inspection checklists and managing driver records.
- Coordinate compliance activities, such as license checks, CVRT, ADR, and vehicle inspection tests.
- Handle stock control and order management of fuel, PPE, and stationery.
- Assist with audits, maintain known supplier records, and issue documents for deliveries.
- Prepare and update transport-related reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide administrative support for the Transport Manager, including letter drafting and file management.
- Collaborate on process standardization projects and undertake training in new processes.
- Act as a flexible team player, maintaining confidentiality and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum three years' experience in an office environment, preferably within a technical/transport setting.
- Proficiency in MS-Office, Navision, Therefore, or similar computerized information systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation (desirable but not essential).
- Professional attitude with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Full clean driver's license with the availability to travel to different client sites (ROI and NI) as needed.
