Van Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Delivery Driver for a food delivery company in South Dublin. You will play an important role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of Irish artisan dry food products to customers. This is a permanent role covering a nationwide territory and will involve early starts (05:30 - 06:00 Hrs) for any country runs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver orders to customers covering the company’s trading area in ROI (note that occasional early starts 05:30 - 06:00 Hrs may be required).
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of products.
• Help plan out routes in advance and ensure meeting delivery deadlines.
• Help with picking & packing orders at the warehouse when not required for deliveries.
• Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers.
• Inspect vehicle for any mechanical issues and report any accidents, violations, or defects in the van to the Logistics Manager.
• Inform the Logistics Manager of any changes in the schedule.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety rules and regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a van driver.
• Full, clean, “B” category, manual Irish driving licence.
• Over the age of 25 (For insurance purposes)
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills and professional customer service.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
• Flexibility for early starts when required.
