Our client, a well known International Logistics Company, is seeking to hire a Warehouse Manager for their offices in Dublin North.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day running of the warehouse operation.
- Constantly review current operation processes and recommend changes to deliver best practice.
- Assist in the management of all warehouse staff to ensure that each area is efficiently resourced and staff are properly trained
- Ensure that all warehouse staff understand what is required of them
- Establish key KPI’s to report on the management of the warehouse and report on these on a weekly basis to senior management.
- Ensure that daily priorities are clearly defined and understood and reviewed throughout the day
- Liaise with key personnel daily to ensure a smooth operation of the warehouse
- Liaise with customers to ensure that all relevant KPI’s are being adhered to or bettered
- Ensure that warehouse space is utilised in the most appropriate fashion
- Ensure that there is 100% compliance with all ISO requirements, regulatory requirements, health and safety and environmental regulations
- Drive the quality agenda throughout all processes in the warehouse
Minimum requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in warehouse management/supervision in a contract logistics and Freight cross dock environment.
- Proven people management and people coordination skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in Numerical, Written Skills. MS office, Exel, Supervisory training
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desirable (5S, Green or Black Belt Lean Management)
- Possess a high level of expertise in solving scheduling logistics and expediting problems
- High levels of Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands
- Experience in all aspects of the warehouse business
- Dangerous Goods, IATA Training desired
- Proven knowledge/expertise of 5S in the workplace
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
- Keen Awareness of Quality processes and procedures
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Reach & Counterbalance forklift Licences desirable
Terms:
Full-time, Permanent, Monday – Friday

€Neg depending on experience + company car
