Our client, a well known International Logistics Company, is seeking to hire a Warehouse Manager for their offices in Dublin North.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day running of the warehouse operation.
  • Constantly review current operation processes and recommend changes to deliver best practice.
  •  Assist in the management of all warehouse staff to ensure that each area is efficiently resourced and staff are properly trained
  • Ensure that all warehouse staff understand what is required of them
  • Establish key KPI’s to report on the management of the warehouse and report on these on a weekly basis to senior management.
  • Ensure that daily priorities are clearly defined and understood and reviewed throughout the day
  • Liaise with key personnel daily to ensure a smooth operation of the warehouse
  • Liaise with customers to ensure that all relevant KPI’s are being adhered to or bettered
  • Ensure that warehouse space is utilised in the most appropriate fashion
  • Ensure that there is 100% compliance with all ISO requirements, regulatory requirements, health and safety and environmental regulations
  • Drive the quality agenda throughout all processes in the warehouse

Minimum requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in warehouse management/supervision in  a contract logistics and Freight cross dock environment.
  • Proven people management and people co­ordination skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Numerical, Written Skills. MS office, Exel, Supervisory training
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desirable (5S, Green or Black Belt Lean Management)
  • Possess a high level of expertise in solving scheduling logistics and expediting problems
  • High levels of Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands
  • Experience in all aspects of the warehouse business
  • Dangerous Goods, IATA Training desired
  • Proven knowledge/expertise of 5S in the workplace
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
  • Keen Awareness of Quality processes and procedures
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Reach & Counterbalance forklift Licences desirable 

Terms​:

Full-time, Permanent, Monday – Friday

Salary:

€Neg depending on experience + company car
