A global 3PL now requires a Warehouse Operative in North Dublin
Must have a current Manual Handling Certificate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the loading and unloading of freight vehicles.
- Efficiently handle the process of receiving incoming goods.
- Organize and put away stock into designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and pack orders based on the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principle.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, including building pallets for shipment.
- Participate in regular stock takes and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse through regular housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Willingness to undertake any additional duties as required by the branch manager.
Person Specification:
- Possess forklift experience and hold a valid forklift license/reach truck
- Must have a current Manual Handling Certificate.
- A minimum of one year of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Demonstrated track record of accurate stock picking.
- Proficient in using computers and warehouse management systems for data entry purposes.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork and communication.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
