Warehouse Operative

The Warehouse Operative is a key member of the logistics team, working within a warehouse facility. This role is essential to the efficient functioning of the supply chain, supporting the management,
movement, and distribution of goods in line with the organisation’s innovative and sustainable approach to logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods efficiently across warehouse dock doors.
• Safely handle trucks and support transport and logistics operations.
• Receive, store, pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and organised storage areas.
• Support the timely dispatch of orders within a busy distribution centre.
• Assist in improving warehouse flow and operational efficiency.
• Always follow all health and safety procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
• Uphold the company values of sustainability, innovation, and ethical conduct.

Requirements

• Proven experience within a warehouse environment
• PPT License essential
• Man Up License highly desirable
• Manual Handling essential
• Reach Truck License desirable
• Counterbalance License desirable
• HPRA experience desirable
• Retail experience within a warehouse environment essential
• Understands and supports loading/unloading operations at multiple dock doors, managing vehicles and goods.
• Capable of receiving, storing, and preparing items for delivery, maintaining accurate inventory records, and optimizing inventory turnover.
