A well-established logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations, including the safe and efficient handling of goods, accurate storage of stock, and coordination of collections and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of products
- Collections & Deliveries
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
- Adhering to quality controls and procedures
- Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklift and power pallet
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Any other duties assigned by the warehouse manager
Skills/ Experience:
- 1 year’s experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in logistics or freight forwarding
- Full B Licence
- Forklift & power pallet experience
- Manual handling
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Candidates must be able to successfully pass a 5-year background check in accordance with aviation security requirements
