Join a well-established freight forwarding company as an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. You'll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring efficient freight handling, compliance with safety regulations, and smooth operational performance.
Please note that a 5-year background check will be carried out as part of the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily inbound and outbound freight operations, including loading, unloading and vehicle dispatch.
- Support and deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards.
- Oversee warehouse equipment, documentation and accurate stock records.
- Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to maintain efficient operations.
- Verify cargo and documentation for all freight movements.
- Carry out additional warehouse duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous Warehouse Supervisor experience within freight forwarding or logistics.
- Knowledge of import/export freight processes and documentation.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid experience operating forklifts, reach trucks and power pallet trucks.
