Our client, a leading metal fabrication, machining and tooling manufacturer are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Lead to join their growing team based in Shannon.
Responsibilities:
- Manage factory Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to drive demand planning and factory production schedules.
- Manage fulfilment of demand plan for customers.
- Manage Material, Labour, Overhead (MLO)
- Manage production capacity, optimising labour & materials while minimising production downtime / changeovers.
- Drive visibility & subsequent mitigation of service & shortage issues.
- Factory production scheduling
- Regional inventory supply planning
- Finished Goods inventory pipeline management
- Logistics & shipping co-ordination & fulfilment
Professional Experience & Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in Materials Management within a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment FMCG (or similar) company
- Experience of Forecasting systems
- Involvement in project management
- Supply Chain Qualification - e.g., CPIM
- Good quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- High level of computer literacy with Data Analytical skills required.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools
- Proficient numerical ability to record, interpret and analyze key process data
- Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills
