Our client, a Cork based General Mechanical Services Contractor, with specialist experience in the construction of HVAC systems and Cleanrooms servicing clients in the Pharmaceutical, Food, and IT Sectors, are currently hiring Junior Design Engineers.
The role shall be primarily head office based and will involve providing engineering input and support to the project delivery teams.
Responsibilities:
- HVAC system design including BIM model reviews and coordination of services.
- Technical review of equipment and specialist subcontractor packages with a view to
- developing value engineering options.
- HVAC design on turnkey design build packages.
- Ongoing interaction with the client and end user engineering leads, managing design
- approval and design changes where required.
- Overview on system commissioning, performance testing, validation, and handover.
Professional Experience & Qualifications:
- Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 2 years post qualification experience in the industrial construction sector
- Must have strong presentation and IT skills and be proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail, with an analytical approach and ability to work using your own initiative.
- Need to have strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective engagement with stakeholders.
- 1 years design experience.
- HVAC Design experience in the Pharma and BioPharma sector a bonus.

Permanent, Full time, Site-based, Monday-Friday, normalised office hours
Package:
An attractive remuneration package up to €40,000, commensurate with relevant experience, is on offer.
