The Distribution Clerk plays a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operations of the distribution department within the branch and in the marketplace. This role involves meticulous administration tasks and coordination across various departments to ensure efficient freight management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate paperwork for incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to manage freight effectively.
  • Process and input customer orders and distribution accounts daily.
  • Provide accurate and timely operational reports.
  • Run stock reports to monitor product availability.
  • Generate necessary paperwork for customer work orders and maintain inventory records.
  • Perform precise data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate special shipping requests and expedite orders as necessary.
  • Trace orders and notify customers of any relevant updates.
  • Ensure accurate billing for clients and vendors.
  • Maintain damage records and handle returned merchandise efficiently.
  • Provide necessary documents and information to warehouse staff.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Report customer feedback to management.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other computer applications.
  • Completion of GDPR training.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in operational English, both spoken and written

Terms:
Permanent, Full-time, Mon – Friday with occasional weekend cover for holidays or sick leave as required. 

Package: 
Negotiable salary (DOE) Healthcare, Pension etc.
