As a Sales and Quotation Executive located in Cork. This is an exciting role well suited to an ambitious professional looking for a new challenge and being part of a hardworking and collaborative freight team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product knowledge of Air, Sea and Road services to answer customer questions.
- Communicating with customers through email, telephone, various communication platforms.
- Responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers.
- Follow up on quotations provided to customers across Air, Sea and Road.
- Understand customers’ needs and identify best solutions.
- Responding within the required timescales to customer/partner enquiries and requests.
- Developing leads and referrals.
- Keep up with product information and changes.
Skills Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience within Freight Forwarding sector.
- Self-motivated with good communication skills with the ability to work as part of sales team and on own initiative.
- Knowledge of Air, Sea and Road transport preferred.
- Ability to work to deadlines and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
